Artist Nyein Chan Kyaw has the ability to see landscapes and nature in the most simplistic form and recreate them combining with his talent and originality. He never tries to create art with intention of the pleasing the audience but he creates art to his heart’s content and delivers the natural results directly to the audience.
“These are the outcomes of what I perceived at the wonderful places I’ve visited. The colors I mostly used may be dreamy as they are direct results of my mental images of the places.”
While much of Nyein Chan Kyaw’s works are representational, he believes it’s an abstraction that liberates him as an artist. He often refers to his own painting as “Dreamscapes” because they portray a world that oscillates somewhere between reality and imagination. That’s probably the reason why his paintings ironic taste of dreamy and familiar at the same time.
