How Does Padauk & Co. Work?
Your everyday life is defined by your unique personality and your home by an authentic, personal and creative imagination. Our values are based on preserving, promoting, and sharing the cultural identity of Myanmar (Burma) with the world. As such, the artwork and design of our products are derived from this unique cultural identity.
We strive to become a global platform for personalized clothing, accessories, merch, personal, and household products. Simply put, we are the go-to place for everything Myanmar (Burma) on quality products where people from around the world discover the work of talented Myanmar (Burmese) artists, designers, and creative minds. Our community reflects the kind, respectful, diverse, and welcoming nature of Myanmar (Burmese) people.
Where Do Products On Padauk & Co., Come From?
We have several vendors and partners in the United States and Myanmar (Burma) that help us get our products to customers. Each vendor produces certain items in our product line, so although you might be located near one of our vendors, your item may still ship from one of our other locations.
Product Customizations or Modifications
Unfortunately, we do not offer product customization and modification at this time. The designs submitted by artists cannot be altered and the products in which the designs are printed cannot be modified. Every item you order a product from Padauk & Co. or our partner store is made on-demand and payment is made to the artist.
That’s what distinguishes us from other e-commerce retailers. Returns aren’t put back on our warehouse shelves, as we can’t resell them.
Why Is The Coupon Code Not Working?
Make sure the coupon you're trying to use has not expired, and that you're applying it to non-sale items only. During a site-wide sale, no further discounts can be applied.
If it still is not working, please contact us with your coupon code and we'll take a look.
Available Payment Methods
Our marketplace accepts most major credit cards, as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, and Afterpay.
Please note, only one form of payment can be processed for each order and all online transactions must be linked to a billing address. Please make sure you’re inputting the billing address just as it appears in your credit card/pre-paid debit card details.
What is Afterpay?
Afterpay is a service that allows customers to make qualifying purchases now and pay for them in four payments made every two weeks over a six-week period without interest. The first payment is made at checkout.
How do I use Afterpay?
You can shop and add items to your cart as normal. At the checkout, choose “Afterpay” for your payment method (if available). You will be redirected to Afterpay and asked to create an Afterpay account if it's your first time using it or to log in to your Afterpay account if you're a returning customer. After that, you'll see an overview of the order details and the payment method you'll be charged on.
Once confirmed, you will return to the Banyan Canopy checkout to complete your order.
Is there a limit to how much I can spend on a transaction?
While there's no minimum purchase amount, there is a limit to how much you can spend, depending on the currency you're using.
For USD, CAD, AUD, there's a $2000 limit.
Afterpay/Clearpay may decline your purchase request with a lower amount. If that's the case, get in touch with Afterpay/Clearpay Customer Service to learn more about it.
Why isn't Afterpay/Clearpay available to me?
Afterpay/Clearpay is only available to customers within the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Additionally, Afterpay/Clearpay may not allow you to check out or create an account. Get in touch with Afterpay Customer Service if you're having trouble checking out.
Why are my installments slightly different after checkout?
The estimated installment payments shown prior to checking out with Afterpay/Clearpay exclude any applicable taxes for your order. Once you check out, and tax is added to your order, that amount is added to your total and divided amongst the four payments.
How does the Afterpay/Clearpay schedule work?
When checking out with Afterpay, your first payment will be made when placing your order, with the remaining three payments deducted by Afterpay/Clearpay from your chosen payment method every two weeks after that.
Alternatively, you can always make payments on time or early by selecting the PAY NOW button on the Afterpay/Clearpay App or online in your account.
How do I return or exchange an item purchased using Afterpay/Clearpay?
If something isn’t quite right with your order once you receive it, we will be happy to process an Exchange or Return for it. Afterpay/Clearpay will be notified of the return and process the appropriate refund based on your payment status.
If you find there is a problem or error with your Afterpay/Clearpay purchase payment, please contact Afterpay/Clearpay Customer Service.
When Will My Card Be Charged?
Since your order goes into production the moment it is placed, your card or PayPal account is charged the moment you confirm your order at checkout. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is submitted. If you notice any confusing charges on your end, such as duplicates, feel free to reach out with any questions!
PayPal Check Out & Incorrect Address Showing
Although the address on your order should be the address you entered at checkout, it is possible that the address was pulled from PayPal system instead. If you have any inkling that this has happened or you just want to double-check and make sure, feel free to use the Delivery & Returns page or reach out to us via the Contact Us page!
Sales Tax
If you live in a US state with a fulfillment center or the law dictates we charge taxes for online purchases or are requesting delivery in areas where the law dictates taxes be charged prior to purchase, you will be charged Sales Tax prior to payment at checkout. In Europe, you'll notice a Sales Tax charge appearing in the total before payment as well!
